The Power of “Yes And…” An Introduction to Short Form Improv for Voice Actors

Like any habit, spontaneity needs practice, and because doing improv helps you stay 100% in the present, it helps you to nurture your spontaneity and live in the moment, trusting your ideas. In this introduction to short form improv you will have the opportunity to learn how to say ‘yes and’ and grow ideas together in the moment to create instant characters and narratives that build from one simple idea into a world of endless possibilities. This session will teach you that whatever the situation is, it’s always ‘Yes and…’.
The class will be led by Iain Luke Jones, who is an experienced teacher and improv facilitator with nearly 20 years experience of guiding and helping to shape the minds of performers from age 6 to 60+.
He now leads improv workshops for adults and he performs live all over the UK.
