What’s your real accent?’: credibility, authenticity and ‘real’ accents

Anthony works with ‘real’ people who want to change their accent and keep their identity. What does that actually sound like? How do you sound ‘real but better’? Does your real accent sound ‘authentic’? If it doesn’t, how can you make it sound more authentic?
I’m interested in how accent affects credibility, and whether it’s possible to LEARN how to sound ‘authentic’. I’m looking forward to exploring this fascinating topic with voiceover artists, seeing what I can learn from professionals, and what professionals can take from the experience of working with people who want to find a new ‘real’ voice.
